On 30 June 2000 David Lambert entered Clinton Correctional Facility, Upstate New York to record Michael Alig for inclusion on the concept album. 

Lambert spent five hours with Alig whilst a guard looked on.

Lambert recorded Alig reading the lyrics to Ultravox's 1977 electro-classic My Sex -  https://youtu.be/3eghD-R6pHc .
